Ian Bollinger is an Entheogen Researcher and Co-Founder of Hyphae Labs, the Entheome Foundation, and the Center for Mycological Analytics. He centers his work around education and conversations by bringing the importance of analytics, citizen science, and community to the forefront by supporting the science behind the Psilocybin/Hyphae Cups and in developing the Hyphae Spectrum(TM), while building platforms for education both in the US and internationally. Through these endeavors he hopes to provide space for highlighting those scientists and cultivators who kept and continue to keep the work alive during the ‘prohibition dark ages’ we are emerging from, as well as provide tools, education, and access to platforms so that the next generation and community can flourish.

The importance of citizen scientists in the growing entheogen space; specifically talking about how we need to be inspiring current and future biologists, chemists, and ecologists who work with entheogenic mushrooms. I will touch bases from the perspectives of a Scientist, Psychonaut, and Educator with discussions around chemical profile testing (Hyphae Labs), genomic databases (Entheome Foundation), and teaching citizen science (Center for Mycological Analytics).
